Yoga and Wellness
Yoga is my Release. Stepping onto my yoga mat has allowed me to release the stories I have told myself and internalized from others. I believed these stories, carried them with me, and allowed them to become part of my self-definition. On my mat, I mindfully show up for myself and let go of all the thoughts that cause tension and no longer serve me. My yoga practice provides me with grace and freedom to be beautifully imperfectly alive. I believe in yoga’s healing power to connect the mind, body, and spirit, not only through movement but also through stillness. I want to share the release, refresh and reset that I have found with my students.
I’m RYT 200 hour certified.
I offer group and private Vinyasa and and Yin yoga in person or via zoom.
Vinyasa yoga uses sequential smooth movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. Vinyasa practice is a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and flexibility in the body and mind.
This power vinyasa class will guide you through energetic and quick flowing sequences, with a dynamic mix of postures. It will allow you to release stress, while still building strength and gaining flexibility. All levels welcome, modifications are always offered!
A fully balanced vinyasa class of forward bending, twists, backbends with opportunity for inversions. All levels are welcome to join in this vigorous practice!
A mindful, slower paced Yin Yoga class to revitalize the mind and body. Aspects of meditation and breath will be utilized in this class allowing yogis to have a deeper soulful practice.
This is a 1:1 yoga lesson you choose between Vinyasa or Yin Yoga. We will work together on form, endurance and being mindful of your body.
